Hi Stuart
ReplyDeleteI wanted you to know that in a book called "Treasures of the Vatican Collections" by Alan Levy, 1983, pg.89
ISBN 0-452-25393-4
Is a stele of Hatshepsut and Thutmosis III, Hatshepsut stands in front of Amun with Thut. III behind her. Not sure if you know about this stele, unfortunately the book provides no museum #.
Cheers
Hi Tim. This stela is known to me, but i thank you for mentioning it:

Also, the stela has been entered into the Hatshepsut Database. This is the only Hatshepsut item from the Vatican Museums collections currently known to me.
ReplyDeletePlease continue with more suggestions- there will be many items not on the database as they are not known to me. Thanks, Stuart
